The Central Park West Neighborhood Walking Tour
This
walking tour focuses on the history and architecture along Central Park West and some of its side street and includes interesting pictures and stories that help join us with the neighborhood's past.
This Walking Tour of Manhatttan's Past and Present Features:
A walk
in The Central Park West Historic District and Strawberry Fields. We will pass typical New York brownstones and compare them with a mansion and we will see and talk about the Art Deco / Art Moderne and Historically styled apartment buildings on Central Park West and see some some gargoyles.
Each participant is given an itinerary with 19 stops that include 11 New York
City landmarks and 5 national landmarks. All Stops are fully discussed.
