My beliefs have become my faith

For most of my life I believed that I am what I am and that's it - no particular reason for my existence, and when I die that would be the complete end of my existence. But as I age and approach the end, I'm speculating about other possibilities. My speculations have led me to some persuasive conclusions about the purpose of all life and universes.

To understand the purpose of human existence - why we are here - we must first decide if we believe in God. Let me say at the start that I know there is God the creator who is all knowing - and I believe that God is unknowable to the human mind - God is completely beyond the limits of human understanding or experience.

Even though I do not understand or know God, I do have a spiritual relationship (connection) to God, because I realize that God does know me (every possible thing about me). My soul & my concscience (I speculate that they are one in the same) is my allegiance to God because it defines everything about me - my decisions, motives, intellect, compassion, greed, - all that is good or evil - are embodied in my soul forever. And it is my knowledge of God's awareness of everything in the depths of my soul that establishes my intimate connection to God.

I believe God created the universe(s), nature and evolution; and evolution is an intricate part of all of God's creations such as the universe, planets, stars, galaxies and all other forms of matter and energy including: animals, plants and humans - all of which are part of a continuing process of change and evolution.
I believe that God, does not intervene in individual lives or in the destiny of humankind, but, God is simultaneously conscious of all events of the past, present and future.
I believe when God created evolution, God was, and is, aware of how it would develop throughout the universes. And I believe that God's universal knowledge extends to all things including the inner thoughts, emotions , actions and motives of every individual in the universe along with, all earthly and universal events (past , present and future).

Based on my beliefs (stated above) I hypothesize that we are in the process of evolving as God intended and that evolution is our purpose - our reason for being as individuals and as a species.

To enhance and restate my beliefs, I theorize, that while evolution's consummation is foreordained, nevertheless, human beings possess free will. The dynamic nature of evolution, allows that all changing actions within the universe are balanced out, and inevitably the universe will arrive at its foreordained conclusion. And my beliefs are supported by my theory, that there is an endless mass of nuanced actions evolving in the universe, consisting of: global events, societal events and group actions along with individual thoughts, emotions, motives and actions. And God the creator, is conscious of all of it at the same time. The past, present and the future is one instance in the consciousness of God.

How all of the above, including the existence of God, is possible is completely beyond my understanding but, I believe because it is my faith.

Let me share, what I perceive to be, some logical thoughts about human existence. It is my reasoning that the human species evolved from the animal species. And that at some point in time, when the human brain grew into a mind, with thoughts, intellect and consciousness along with a conscience and a soul; it was during this peroid of time that human beings became a distinct and separate species from the animal species. To be clear, since animals are a part of nature and humans evolved from animals, therefore humans are a part of, and created by, nature, and not opposed to nature. Consequently it follows that all things produced by human beings, for better or worst, are a part of nature's evolution. And while human individuals are subject to their circumstances and their environment; each individual has a free will to decide the role they choose to play in the world (they decide and are ultimately responsible for what they believe & how they act).

I believe God the creator embedded in the souls of all humanity characteristics that foster, theology, philosophy, psychology, music, history, literature, the arts & a interest in civilizations. And these forementioned characteristics promote a balance in the unending logical debate imbedded in the human condition. The constant tension between: autonomy & belonging, equality & achievement, freedom & order, diversity & cohesion, security & exploration, tenderness & strength, intellect & passion. There is no right or wrong answer in the debate, just a temporary balancing, depending on the circumstances. It is the eventual balancing that promotes peaceful coexistence in individual & world wide situations. I have faith in a benevolent God's omniscience.

A preponderance of scientific proof supporting the existence of God is compiled in the recently published book: God The Science The Evidence, Author Michel-Yves, Bollore, Olivier Bonnassies Originally published in French 2021 - Translated in 2025 into English Published by Palomar editions - Distributed by Abrams Book
